<image:title>About Dr. Wilson - Dr. Christina Wilson, DVM</image:title>
<image:caption>Dr. Wilson has always been a bit horse-crazy. At age 9, she persuaded her parents to let her start taking horseback riding lessons, and by age 12, she purchased her first horse, Mr. Cashman. Even at such a young age, she already knew that she wanted to become an equine veterinarian — and she did! While her passion for horses led her to veterinary medicine, she soon found that her professional interests were wide-reaching and all-inclusive. She now practices with great passion and unparalleled proficiency on a wide variety of barnyard companions, including donkeys, goats, sheep, alpacas, and llamas. In 2014, Dr. Wilson founded Equiheart® Veterinary Services to provide mobile veterinary care to farm animals in her home state of New Jersey. In founding her own practice, Dr. Wilson was dedicated to giving her clients the personalized, individual attention that they deserve without the common hassles of traditional veterinary practices. Not only does Dr. Wilson provide care to your animals from the comfort of your farm, but she prioritizes direct communication and encourages her clients to call her directly with any questions or concerns, day or night. Dr. Wilson loves what she does and takes great pride in providing superior care, open communication, and round-the-clock emergency service to her valued clients. Dr. Wilson received a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree With Honors from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. <image:title>Injured Wildlife - What to do if you find an animal.</image:title>
<image:caption>If you find a wild animal and you believe they need help, please do your research before intervening! The New Jersey Association of Wildlife Rehabilitators provides a thorough series of flowcharts to help you understand what to if you find a wild animal. Please consult these flowcharts before doing anything! Most of the time, the right thing to do for the animal will be to call the appropriate licensed wildlife rehabilitator (see list below). Thank you for protecting New Jersey’s wildlife!</image:caption>
